Rep. Susan Wismer, Democratic candidate for governor, delivered a strong and forceful performance at today's South Dakota Public Broadcasting gubernatorial candidate debate. She discussed the issues surrounding EB-5, her focus on strengthening education, and specific ideas for economic development. Rep. Wismer also spoke about making education a top priority and taking care of the well-run state we were once handed by previous generations.

"If we truly concerned about education, we would prioritize funding over putting in the bank," said Rep. Wismer.

Wismer, a small business owner and member of the State House of Representatives from Britton, also talked about the need to expand Medicaid and the need for balance in Pierre.

"I'm tired of being told it could be worse when our future could be so much better. As Governor, I would lead us to that higher ground," said Rep. Wismer.
